Today was a day to celebrate our Armed Forces in the capital with a Parade of Veterans.
The Royal British Legion Scotland & Associations Standards were led by the Band of the Royal Regiment of Scotland along George Street to St Andrew Square where those in attendance were addressed by the Lord Provost of the City of Edinburgh and representatives of the Armed Forces in Scotland.
A programme of entertainment and refreshments was provided for veterans and their families with a number of charity stalls and displays also there to offer advice and assistance to those attending.
