There is a big night of speedway on Friday as Glasgow Tigers host Sheffield Tigers while Edinburgh Monarchs entertain Peterborough Panthers in the Championship.

And Berwick Bandits visit Workington Comets as they complete their fixtures in the Championship Shield. Tapes go up on all matches at 7.30pm.

Meanwhile, Sam Masters has confirmed in the Harrisons Scottish Open at Armadale on Friday, May 11 (7.15pm).

The Australian ace, who rides in the Premiership, roared to the title in 2014.

And he is determined to take the Jack Young Memorial Trophy back to The Midlands with him.

Masters was at Armadale last Friday for a visit and he said: “I’m stoked to get back on track at Armadale.

“I reached the semi-final last year but didn’t make the final so I’ll be going for it to get the trophy back this year.”

Joining 26-year-old Masters for the Open are current Monarchs racers Matt Williamson and Max Ruml as well as popular Berwick Bandits captain Kevin Doolan.
