Police are appealing for information to help trace a woman reported missing from the Leith area.
Margaret Young was last seen in Dock Place on Monday 18 April.
Since then, the 49-year-old has not been in contact with friends or family and concern is now growing for her welfare.
Margaret’s car was last seen on the A1 southbound at Thorntonloch around 6.10pm on Monday.
She was driving a silver Vauxhall Antara with the registration BD11 UCF.
Margaret is described as around 5ft 6in with a slim build. She was last seen wearing a dark blue fleece, dark top, black trousers with black high heeled shoes.
Inspector Scott Richardson, of Howdenhall Police Station, said: “Given the passage of time and the fact we haven’t heard from Margaret, we’re increasingly concerned for her.
“It’s possible she may go to the Morpeth area of England, but I’d ask anyone who has any information or has seen Margaret to call us.”
Those with any information can contact Police Scotland on 101.
