Police are appealing for witnesses following the death of a man after his car was involved in a collision with a lorry on the A801 road at Boghead roundabout, outside Bathgate, at around 7.30pm on Sunday evening.
The 50-year-old, who was driving a black Citroën DS3, was pronounced dead at the scene whilst the driver of the Scania lorry escaped injury.
Sgt Gary Taylor, of the Road Policing Unit at Livingston, said: “We would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this crash, or who may have been on the A801 at this time on Sunday night.
“In particular we would like to hear from anyone who may have any dashcam footage which might help in this investigation.”
