Ricky Wells powered to 14 points as Edinburgh Monarchs claimed a confidence-boosting road win at Redcar Bears.
Captain Erik Riss also scored 11 points with Joel Andersson claiming a valuable ten points in a 57-33 victory.
Only former Glasgow Tigers and Berwick Bandits rider Ben Barker scored double-figures for the home side. He claimed 12 points.
And the match was effectively over by Heat Eight as Monarchs led 30-18 and they made sure with a 5-1 in Heat 11 for a 41-25 lead with four heats remaining.
