The First Minister the Rt Hon Nicola Sturgeon appeared on the steps of Bute House just after 11.30 am this morning to explain the steps that Holyrood will now take to ensure Scotland’s future.

Although she did not announce definite plans for a second independence referendum, she said it is very much on the table.

  1. The Brexit Vote shows that the majority of the British voters, understand that the UK Government represents interests other than those of the British People. As difficult as the British know it is, to hold their own government to account, they understand they have no prospect whatsoever of holding the EU Government to account.

The sovereignty of a nation of people is invaluable, nor does any given generation in that nation, have the ownership of that sovereignty , or the right to give it away. It belongs to all those who have gone before, those that live today, and those that will be born in the future!
    – Because all that has been achieved, for Scotland, is the exchanging of one economic and political master for another!

Scotland can, should, and must do it, for themselves and generations to come:-

A completely Independent Scotland, making all it’s own decisions, for it’s own people, in their own Scotland!

The Scottish must never settle for anything less!

Yes, Scotland, you will need another Referendum to achieve that!

  2. It is now more obvious than ever that the only hope of a better fairer Scotland is as an independent country.
I hope that the folk taken in by “the vow”and the only way to stay in the EU now see they were taken and the only thing Westminster gave Scotland was EVEL
    Independence can’t happen fast enough
