Police recovered a quantity of cocaine, heroin, diazepam and cannabis with a potential street value of £32,000 from an address in the Dumbiedykes area of Edinburgh around 8am this morning.

Enquiries are ongoing to trace the persons responsible.

Detective Constable Callum Peoples said: “In addition to acting on vital intelligence from our communities, officers also utilise stop and search to identify individuals who may be in possession of illegal or illicit materials.

“We will continue to use all resources and tactics at our disposal to remove drugs and other harmful items from our communities.”
