The Portobello Market returns on June 6 in Brighton Park, and Dr Bike will be there to give free bike checks, thanks to BG Cycles. The Caleerie Buskers will also return to provide a little entertainment as the day goes on. There’s more than 20 traders this month including the arrival of an all-new producer. There’s everything from sweet & savoury to garden & crafts The market opens at 9.30am and runs until 1.30pm. Tables and chairs are set out for you to sit a while and enjoy the atmosphere. Portobello Market runs in Brighton Park, just off Brighton Place, Portobello, on the first Saturday of every month except January. Portobello Amenity Society (PAS) Annual General Meeting is at 7.30 p.m. on Thursday 4 June in the Baptist Church Hall 185, Portobello High Street.
