Police in Edinburgh are appealing for information to help trace a 32 year old woman reported missing from her home in the city’s southside.
Laura Gorrie, from Wharton Square, near Lauriston Place, has not been seen since 10am on Wednesday 9th July.
Laura has gone missing on a number of occasions when she has travelled to London, Aberdeen, Inverness and Glasgow. But she is a particularly vulnerable person, and police are keen to ensure that she is safe.
Laura is described as white, 5 ft 8in, large build, long brown/strawberry blonde hair, blue eyes, wears glasses, and a Tasmanian devil tattoo on her upper right arm, with an ‘S’ above and ‘Dad’ below. She was last seen wearing a navy hoody with white logo on the left hand side, grey jogging bottoms, grey and black shoes, and carrying a rucksack.
Inspector Murray Tait said: “Laura has been missing since 9th July and we are keen to trace her whereabouts as her family are increasingly worried. I would appeal to Laura to get in touch with her family or the police to let us know she is safe and well, and anyone with information that can assist is urged to contact police on 101.”
