Officers are appealing for help to trace a man missing from Edinburgh. 

Garry Coyle, 64, was last seen in the Parkgrove Terrace area on the morning of Wednesday, 11 September, 2024 and may have been in the area of Craigleith Retail Park around 3pm on Wednesday afternoon. 

He is described as being around 5ft 4in in height, of very slim build with long, grey and black hair. It is unknown what he is wearing however he may have been in possession of a rucksack. 

Inspector Leanne Meldrum said: “Concerns are growing for Garry’s wellbeing and our extensive enquiries are ongoing to trace him.  

“I would appeal to anyone who has seen Garry, or who has any information on his whereabouts to contact us.” 

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 1320 of 12 September, 2024.
