A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after his bike collided with a tree on Harthill Road Blackridge earlier this afternoon.
The scene has been cordoned off to facilitate an investigation by police.
Paramedics also attended the incident which took place around 2.30pm.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: “We were called at 2.30pm to reports that a motorbike had collided with a tree.
“One male biker aged in his 30s has been taken to hospital.”
