The celebration of Edinburgh Monarchs 70th Anniversary will take place on Friday, 22 June with the staging of the Platinum Jubilee Fours.
The event will follow the normal pattern of a four-team tournament with 16 heats and the top scorer from each team will then contest a big money Individual final.
Currently the teams contesting the event are named 40s Monarchs, 60s Monarchs, 80s Monarchs and Now Monarchs.
All teams are available for sponsorship at a cost of £360 which gives you the opportunity to add your name to the team, have that printed on the race jacket, manage the team on the night, have your photograph taken with your team and get to keep the team captain’s race jackets. All other race jackets will be available for purchase at a cost of £120 which will include two stadium admissions, two match magazines, a signed race jacket to take home and a DVD of the meeting. This sponsorship will be available to purchase on Monarchs website shortly
There will be fireworks, entertainment in the bar after the meeting and much more.
Any rider who has ever ridden for the Monarchs in their 70-year history is invited to attend and they need only email us for a free ticket.
