Elite League: Fife Flyers 3, Belfast Giants 2 (after overtime); Cardiff Devils 6, Edinburgh Capitals 2; Braehead Clan 4, Dundee Stars 6

Layne Ulmer claimed a double as Edinburgh Capitals lost 6-2 at Elite League pace-setters Cardiff Devils.
Ulmer opened the scoring on the power play after seven minutes and Matthew Myers made it 2-0 seven minutes later.
Ulmer increased the home side’s advantage after only two minutes of the middle session but Jacob Johnston pulled one back with Taylor MacDougall supplying the pass after 38 minutes to give the visitors hope.
Andrew Lord after 18, third period seconds and Andrew Hotham on the power play four minutes later ended any comeback.
Yevgeni Fyodorov scored for the Scots after 45 minutes to pull the score back to 5-2 but Jake Morissette completed the scoring with a sixth after 51 minutes.
Elsewhere, Russ Moyer netted 31 seconds into sudden death overtime last night (SAT) to snap a three-game losing streak for Fife Flyers.
The sides had been deadlocked at 2-2 after 60 minutes after goals from Belfast’s Alex Foster and Derrick Walser, who levelled with 48 minutes played, and home strikes from Josh Scoon and former Braehead Clan star Brendan Brooks.
And at Braehead, Dundee Stars won 6-4 with Justin Faryna scoring twice. Matt Meca claimed a double for the home side.
