Police have arrested and charged a 25-year-old man in connection with the supply of cocaine and cannabis in Musselburgh on Friday 9th September.
East Lothian community action team supported CID officers to execute a drug search warrant at an address in Pinkiehill Crescent.
This resulted in the recovery of a significant quantity of cocaine worth £5,550 and herbal cannabis worth £1,680. A four-figure sum of cash was also recovered.
He appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday 12th September.
Detective Inspector Paul Batten said: “The sale and use of controlled drugs not only endangers individuals but is harmful to the whole community.
“We are committed to acting on information we receive from the public and would urge anyone with concerns about drugs in their community to get in touch.”
