Police in East Lothian have recovered more Class A drugs after local and specialist officers executed two search warrants last Thursday.
The first took place on the High Street in Prestonpans where a quantity of Heroin, with a value of £100, along with drug paraphernalia and a three-figure sum of cash were recovered within.
A 36-year-old woman was arrested and charged and appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday (May 13).
The second took place on Stoneybank Terrace in Musselburgh.
A quantity of Crack Cocaine worth £920, Heroin worth £330 and a three-figure sum of cash were recovered within.
A 32-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman were arrested and charged and appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday (May 13).
Detective Sergeant Alan Young of Proactive CID said: “Operation Fusion continues to see successful results in removing controlled drugs from communities across East Lothian.
“I want to reassure residents that we will act on all information we receive, and would urge anyone with concerns about drugs in their community to get in touch.”
