A 17-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an alleged assault in Edinburgh City Centre.
At around 5:40pm on Thursday (Oct 8), a 23-year-old woman was briefly knocked unconscious after falling down an escalator leading from Princes Street to Waverley Station.
Sergeant Jerry Ross of Police Scotland said: “Following an extensive police investigation a man from the Glasgow area has been charged in relation to this incident and he appeared before Edinburgh Sheriff Court today (Monday).”
