Hibs’ Head Coach Alan Stubbs was left frustrated after only taking one point against play off rivals Falkirk at Easter Road yesterday.
A Jason Cummings’ hat-trick saw Hibs take a 3-1 lead into the dressing room at half time then Martin Boyle missed two glorious chances to secure the win before the ‘Bairns’ fought back to equalise.
The manner of the goals conceded annoyed Stubbs who told spoke to Hibs’ TV: after the game: “We should’ve won it – I don’t think there is any doubt about that.
“To let them come away with a draw is just not acceptable from my point of view.
“So we should’ve created a six-point gap between us, but we haven’t done because we didn’t do enough to see the game out.
“We should’ve defended set-pieces better and at 3-1 up the game is comfortable. Then we had chances to make it 4-1 and the game is out of sight.
“I expect players to take responsibility when there are set-pieces, but they didn’t.
“We didn’t make the right decisions in the box and because of that they’ve scored from a couple of set-pieces
