Police are appealing for information to help trace a man reported missing in the Capital.

Antoni Malinowski was last seen at an address in Ardmillan Terrace at around 1am this morning.

However, when his carer awoke, the 64-year-old was not within the property.

Mr Malinowski, who has dementia, is on a short holiday within Edinburgh and is not familiar with the city.

Anyone who can assist officers in tracing his is asked to come forward.

Antoni is described as white, heavy build on top with thin legs, short dark hair and balding on top and walks with a stoop. He speaks with a Devon accent and is believed to be wearing a teal coloured t-shirt, blue/grey pyjama bottoms.

Sergeant Jerry Pullar said: “We are keen to establish Antoni’s whereabouts as soon as possible and ensure he is safe and well.

“Anyone who believes they have seen him, or who has information that can help locate him is asked to contact police immediately.”
