Hibs full-back Lewis Miller insists that the players all believe they can beat Celtic this weekend and progress in the Scottish Cup.
Hibs go into the game in fine form only losing once in their last 18 fixtures.
But Scottish Cup progression will be a difficult test against a Celtic side that haven’t been beaten in the competition since April 2022.
When speaking to the media, Miller gave an insight into the players’ mindsets going into the fixture.
“We all have belief. It’s not going to be easy, we don’t expect it to be, but we’re ready for that challenge and can’t wait for the weekend.
“Winning is a habit; we’ve got into that cycle now and we want to keep it going. We’re dialled in and ready.
“The goal is to get into the latter stages of the cup. If we keep on winning, then we can achieve that. It’s a tough game away, but we have complete belief and confidence.”
Miller was part of the Hibs side that beat Celtic just under two weeks ago, but he’s more than aware that the challenge will be a different one at Parkhead.
“It’s going to be even more difficult and a greater test with the game being away, but we have confidence and belief.
“We have to stay rigid at the back, and we’re creating chances week in, week out.
“Everyone is full of confidence, and we need to keep that momentum going. We have the belief we can beat them, and if we keep going on this track, then anything is possible.”
