An artisan shop in Haddington town centre is set for stardom after featuring in a new film being shot in East Lothian.

The Foraging Goat closed for business on Thursday as the team behind the new Hallmark movie, entitled A Scottish Love Story, set up to shoot scenes for the romance.

The family-run greengrocers and larder store, which opened in the High Street at the end of last year, promotes local produce and home-made goods.

They informed customers yesterday that they were closing for a ‘private event’ today.

Film crews were also seen shooting scenes outside the town’s former court house and Corn Exchange while lorries carrying equipment parked in East Lothian Council’s staff car park.

The film, which is based on the story of a woman who travels to Scotland and falls in love with a local man, has already shot scenes in Dirleton and is expected to move to Yellowcraig beach over the weekend.
