There is a long list of roadworks in Edinburgh next week including some new ones to look out for at Marine Drive near Boardwalk Beach Club, Whitehouse Road where BT are laying cables and Queensferry Road at the junction with Cammo Road where SGN are renewing gas mains.

Hearts play at home against Hamilton with a kick off at 3.00pm and the usual road closer at McLeod Street with parking restrictions around Tynecastle apply.

Other new traffic hotspots include Manor Place, York Place, Gloucester Street, Haymarket Terrace around the West End, Firrhill Drive at the bridge over Braid Burn, Oxgangs Road North where they are resurfacing the road, Portobello Road and Crewe Road North for BT upgrading works, Deanhaugh Street (which is not really new but a new phase), BT works on Telford Road and Groathill Road North, Brandon Street for Virgin Media who are clearing blocked cable ducts, Ocean Drive for frameworks, Dundrennan Cottages for Cityfibre installation, BT works at Braid Hills Avenue and Whitehouse Loan, Scottish Power works on Colinton Road and Lanark Road West, Scottish Water manhole repairs on Joppa Road and barrier repairs at the Jewel roundabout, other works at Gorgie Road, Ardmillan Terrace, Broomhouse Drive and on Dalkeith Road at East Mayfield.
