New signing Sean Beattie is expected to make this Murrayfield Racers debut when they clash with Dundee Tigers at Murrayfield on Sunday in the Scottish National League.

The face-off is 6pm and Racers come into the game after earning a 3-3 draw at reigning Scottish National League champions, Dundee Comets on Tayside on Saturday night.

Tony Hand, the club’s director of hockey, saw his men let slip a 3-1 lead secured by the end of the second session.

Comets won the opening period 1-0 but Racers hit back with three unanswered goals.

The home side salvaged a point with two goals in the final session.

On Saturday, Josh Gratton netted a double as Glasgow Clan shocked Elite League pace-setters Nottingham Panthers in England.

Vlakav Stupka, Brendan Connolly and Scott Pitt also counted in the confidence-boosting 5-2 success.

In Fife, Flyers beat Belfast Giants 4-2 with Brett Bulmer netting a double and singles from Bari McKenzie and Evan Bloodoff.

Giants led 1-0 after two minutes but Fife hit the visitors with four goals in 11, third period minutes to take the points and claim their second win inside a week.
