Berwick Bandits boss Scott Courtney wants revenge as Redcar Bears check-in at the Borders track on Saturday (tapes-up 7pm).

Berwick are second in the 11-strong league table but
emerged pointless when the teams met on Teesside on Thursday and Bandits lost 50-40.

Courtney believes it was another night where the Pride of Berwick showed up well.

And he claimed there were some good battling races from most of the squad.

Jye Ethridge suffered a fall in Heat Seven and suffered suspected concussion and the injury was a telling point according to Courtney.

He said: “It left us understandably shorthanded just when Redcar turned the screw.

“There were positives in this match for us and we will be looking to make amends (at Berwick).”
