A total of 25 points separates bottom club Berwick Bandits from sixth-placed Peterborough Panthers.
The Borders club have 11 points from 28 Championship matches while Panthers have collected 36 points from their 22 outings.
The sides have met three times so far this term with Berwick winning 50-40 in the Borders in May.
Two matches have taken place in June, both at Peterborough. Panthers won 54-38 in the first one and 53-39 in the second.
However, the English side will come into Saturday’s fixture after a visit to Edinburgh Monarchs on Friday.
And Bandits bosses are hopeful that they can cheer loyal fans with a second win on home shale on Saturday. Tapes go up at 7pm.
