Elite League: Edinburgh Capitals 3, Fife Flyers 4
Carlo Finucci claimed a late game-winner as Fife Flyers edged bottom club Edinburgh Capitals 4-3 at Murrayfield.
Capitals were 3-1 down after 29 seconds of the final period but levelled at 3-3 with less than five minutes remaining thanks to a double from Yevgeni Fyodorov.
But Finucci scored after 56min 22sec to secure two points and complete a three-point weekend following a 4-3 overtime home loss to Dundee Stars on Saturday.
Flyers were outshot 38-19 but netminder Shane Owen kept the home side at bay.
It was Mathew Sisca who broke the deadlock after a blanked first session with a goal in 22 minutes.
Ten minutes later a Justin Fox power play put Fife 2-0 ahead only for Ian Schultz to open the home side’s account also on the power play three minutes later.
Chase Schaber made it 3-1 only 29 seconds into the third session but Fyodorov struck after 46 minutes and again in 55 minutes to equalise leaving Finucci to grab the glory.
