Police are appealing for witnesses following a hit and run in Wallyford which took place around 11.20am last Monday in Salters Road.
A Nissan Micra Spirita was involved in a collision with another car, believed to be a grey Nissan Primera, which failed to stop.
Officers are now urging anyone who can assist in tracing the driver to come forward.
Sergeant Stuart Higginbottom from Musselburgh Police Station said: “Two people within the car suffered minor injuries of whiplash and bruising during this collision. As part of our ongoing inquiries, we also want to establish if anyone within the Primera was hurt.
“Anyone who was on Salters Road on Monday morning and witnessed this incident, or who has information that can help with our investigation, is asked to get in touch immediately.”
