Police Scotland has released CCTV images of a man that officers would like to speak to in connection with a robbery at an ATM in Bathgate which took place around 3.25pm on Tuesday 1 December 2015 at the Bank of Scotland on Hopetoun Street, near to the junction with Jarvey Street.
A sum of money was taken from a woman in her 50s and officers believe that the man shown in the images may be able to help them with their enquiries and anyone with information that can assist with the police investigation is asked to come forward.
The male is described as being white, in his mid 20’s, 5ft 8″ – 5ft 10″ tall, slim – medium build, with drawn facial features and a goatee style stubble around his mouth.
At the time of the incident, he was wearing a khaki-coloured waist length hooded jacket with the hood up, a dark coloured skip cap, light blue stonewashed jeans and black/white coloured trainers. He was also carrying a rucksack.
Detective Constable Stevie McCormick of Livingston said: “This robbery was a terrifying experience for the victim involved and our officers have been making extensive enquiries to find the person responsible.
“We would urge anyone who may recognise the man pictured or is able to provide any information that might help our investigations to get in touch immediately.”
