Police are appealing for witnesses following a housebreaking in Bonnyrigg which happened sometime between 11 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. on Wednesday 2nd March at an address in Union Park.

After the property was entered various electrical items were stolen from inside along with jewellery and cash.

Inquiries are ongoing to trace those responsible and anyone with information is asked to come forward.

Sergeant Colin McDonald from Loanhead Police Station said: “The homeowner was extremely upset when she returned to find her home and been broken into and several possessions were stolen from within.

“We are investigating this incident as part of Operation RAC and anyone who remembers seeing any suspicious activity around Union Park on Wednesday is asked to contact police immediately.

“In addition, anyone with any further information is that can assist with our investigation should also get in touch.”
