Police have released CCTV footage of a man they wish to trace in connection with a public indecency investigation.
The incident happened between 08.10pm and 9.00pm on board a Stagecoach bus, which travelled from Dumfries to Edinburgh on 20 May 2015.
The man pictured in the footage from Edinburgh Bus Station is of interest to the ongoing police enquiry and anyone who can assist in establishing his identity is asked to come forward.
He is described as white, between 25 and 35-years-old with a skinny build, scruffy short ginger hair and a ginger beard. He was wearing black combat trousers, a black t-shirt, black muddy army-style boots and a yellow beanie hat before changing into skinny acid-wash jeans. In addition he was carrying two rucksacks, one of which had a camouflage design.
Detective Constable Bruce Raimondo said: “This was a very distressing incident for the young woman and we are continuing with our enquiries. Anyone who can help us trace the male pictured within the CCTV footage is asked to contact police immediately.”
