Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was seriously assaulted around 4am this morning outside McDonalds on London Road.
The 20 year old victim, who was with two male friends, was assaulted by two men, resulting in a fractured jaw. The two suspects then left McDonalds car park in a private hire cab.
The first man is described as white, Scottish accent, 5ft 6in tall, slim build, blonde hair, dark coloured duffel coat with thick fur hood.
The second man is described as white, 5ft 11in tall, slim build, and wearing a blue Nike zip-up top with a blue and white horizontal striped t-shirt underneath.
DI Alan O’Brien said: “This appears to have been an unprovoked attack which left the victim with a serious injury that may require surgery. I’m appealing for anyone who was in the area of London Road at around 4am this morning, and who has information that can assist, to contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111
