Police are appealing for witnesses following a firearms incident in the south of Edinburgh in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
The incident happened at around 4.15am when a firearm was discharged at an address in Kenilworth Drive.
Police are now appealing for help in tracing a man who is described as white, 18-25 years of age, wearing a grey hooded top and grey trousers.
Detective Inspector Stuart Harkness said: “Fortunately, no one was injured however that does not take away from the serious and reckless nature of this incident.
“There will be additional officers patrolling the area in the coming days, and we will continue to work closely with the public in order to bring the perpetrators to justice.
“We are appealing to members of the public or delivery drivers who may have been in the area at the time to get in touch if they witnessed any suspicious activity or vehicles.”
