Police are asking for the help of the public to trace a 13-year-old girl reported missing from the Pathhead area of Midlothian.

Enquiries have established that Salsabil Boukelia travelled to Edinburgh and she was last seen on Tuesday, 10 December, around 9.25pm on Lady Road in the city, having left the Cameron Toll shopping centre.

She is described as around 5ft 4ins, of slim build with long, brown hair. When last seen she was wearing a long-sleeved grey top with black lettering on the front, black trousers and white trainers.

Sergeant Ross Dunn said: “Concerns are growing for Salsabil and it is important we make sure she is safe and well.

“We are asking anyone who has seen her or knows where she might be to get in touch.”

Anyone who can help is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 3029 of Tuesday, 10 December, 2024.
