West Edinburgh Warriors senior men’s basketball team have been presented with the trophy for winning Division Two of the Lothian League.
The success came a year after promotion from Division Three and was based on an unbeaten league with victims including Polonia Phoenix Masters who were themselves otherwise unbeaten.
The Warriors also made it to the semi-final of the cup competition where they lost to Edinburgh Lions, a Division One side.
The club’s other sides also fared well with the under-8/10 group more than doubling in size and the under-18s winning basketballscotlands SBC Division Two.
Coach and Development Officer Tom Griffin is on the left hand side of the group in the black shirt, and the presentation was made by LBA committee member Robert Bald Snr who is wearing a while polo shirt on the right of the group.
