Police investigating an assault on Dalry Road last month have arrested a 33-year-old man.

Officers said the incident took place ‘outside a premises’ on Dalry Road just after 12.30 on the afternoon of Saturday, May 11.

Earlier this month officers released a CCTV image of a man they wished to speak to.

Following that appeal, officers say that a man has been arrested and charged and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Following a CCTV appeal, a 33-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an assault on Dalry Road, Edinburgh, on Saturday, 11 May, 2024.

“A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
