Belle Vue Colts are one of the strongest sides in the National Development League (NDL) but they are still be looking for at least a point to push them up into one of the play-off places when they visit Armadale on Friday.

The Stellar Devils have ambitions to get off the bottom of the table. Currently, they are one point behind Plymouth who they are due to visit next Tuesday. They would love to go there on the back of a good result against the Colts.

Better performances recently by the Devils give them encouragement. Top Man Lee Complin and captain Tom Woolley did well in the NDL Riders’ Championship, better than the Colts’ representatives, although there is no denying that the Manchester side have quality throughout their team.

Complin said: “It would be good to make sure they don’t get the point we need and boost ourselves and we all need to work together and see what we can do.”

With team manager Alan Buzynski away, Alex Harkess (pictured with blue jacket by Nigel Duncan) takes over the team manager duties and Friday’s match will be live streamed. Details on www.edinburghmonarchs.co.uk
