Australian-born racer Josh Pickering has been confirmed in Edinburgh Monarchs’ squad for next season.
The popular rider returns for his third season with the club and last summer he added 1.5 points on his average, taking it over six. That is the direction he hopes to continue to travel in.
Pickering said: “I’ll be looking for more of the same and I plan to pick up where I left off last season.
“I’ve been very happy at Edinburgh and with their fans and I stay with good people and just enjoy myself.
“I know Justin Sedgmen and it will be good to have another Aussie in the team.””
Reflecting on last season, Pickering said: “I was happy with my machinery but as I’m signed up in Poland for next season I’ll be looking to build up more machinery.
“I’d definitely like to find a Premiership place. So far I’ve not heard from anyone in that league.”
