Police have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to trace in connection with an ongoing investigation into indecent communications which took place in Princes Mall, Waverley Bridge around 11.55am on Wednesday 18th October 2017.
Officers believe the man pictured may be able to assist with their inquiries.
He is described as white, around 60-years-old, of average build with grey hair. He was wearing a blue jacket, dark trousers and pointed dark shoes.
Detective Sergeant Jennifer Priestley said: “We’re eager to trace this man as part of our ongoing inquiries and would urge anyone who may recognise him to get in touch with us as soon as possible.
“Similarly if the man himself sees this appeal, we would ask him to contact us.”
Those with information can contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0999 of 18th January, or report this anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
