Police are appealing for information following a serious assault in Blackburn West Lothian.
The incident happened around 5.30pm Thursday evening on East Main Street near to the premises of Mat Purdie and Sons Removal and Storage Company, when a 46-year-old man was approached by two men and struck to the face.
Since the injured man fell into the road, motorists had to take evasive action to avoid him.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who saw this assault.
The suspects are described as being in their late 20’s, wearing dark clothing. One of them was wearing a hat.
Detective Constable Craig Waddell of Livingston CID said: “This incident has just been reported to us and we are keen to hear from anyone who was in the vicinity at the time and remembers seeing anything suspicious.”
