CCTV appeal indecent comments 2

Police investigating an incident within the city centre, have released CCTV footage of a man they wish to trace in connection with their enquiries.

The incident happened around 11am on Monday 27th July 2015 in Middle Meadow Walk, Meadows Park, Edinburgh, when a male approached a female and made comments, which gave her cause for alarm.

Officers are now keen to trace the male within the CCTV images to assist with their ongoing enquiries.

He is described as white, approximately 20 years old, slim build, clean-shaven, with blonde hair. He was wearing a quilted dark hooded jacket and grey tracksuit bottoms. He had a foreign, possibly Eastern European accent.

Detective Constable Sam Johnson said: “This incident has left the victim shocked.”

“We are keen to trace the male in the footage as part of our investigation and would ask anyone who recognises him to contact police immediately.”
