Two men have been arrested and charged in relation to a recovery of class A drugs in Leith this morning.
The men were arrested following the recovery of heroin and cocaine with a street value of £122,400 from a vehicle in Trafalgar Lane around 8.15am today.
The men, aged 44 and 27, who are from the Bradford area, will appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday 20th July.
Detective Inspector David Wright said: “I am delighted that a substantial amount of heroin and cocaine has been removed from the streets of Edinburgh before it can cause untold harm to our communities.
“Police Scotland is committed to tackling serious organised crime and we will continue to act on information we receive from the public to bring those responsible to justice.”
