Police Scotland have announced that two men have been arrested and charged following an assault and robbery in Edinburgh last week.
Local officers responded to a call out to the Restalrig Village Store on Restalrig Road South last Thursday (12th February) after the 77-year-old shop owner was assaulted and robbed.
The two men, aged 20 and 17, have been held to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today.
