Police are continuing their appeal to help trace James Farmer, aged 51, who was last seen in the Grassmarket area of the city around 10.30am on Thursday 22nd January.
James still has family in the Kirkcaldy area and has also been known to travel to Stirling, Aberdeen and other parts of the UK on the bus.
James is described as male, white, around 5ft 7 inches tall, average build with a fair complexion and salt-and-pepper coloured hair.
He was wearing a black ‘Everlast’ jacket and sports trousers with a white stripe down the leg, and a hat with distinctive markings, as seen in the above images.
Police Inspector Nic Page said: “We are keen to establish that James is safe and well and we would ask anyone who can assist us in tracing him to come forward.
“Similarly we would appeal for James to get in touch with the police or friends and family so that we can establish that he is safe and well.”
