An Edinburgh drug dealer has today been jailed following a police operation to target those involved in serious and organised crime.
Adam Chodor, who is originally from Poland, was arrested in January last year after officers conducted a search of a property in Easter Road and recovered £87,000 worth of amphetamine and cannabis.
The 28-year-old subsequently pled guilty to offences under the Misuse of Drugs Act in October.
He was today sentenced to spend 16 months in prison.
Detective Chief Inspector Colin Boyle from Police Scotland’s Specialist Crime Division said: “Adam Chodor was found in possession of both amphetamine and cannabis, which were meant for distribution within the Edinburgh area.
“As a result of an intelligence-led operation, police recovered these substances before they could cause harm within our communities.
“Police Scotland is committed to keeping people safe and we will continue to take robust action against those involved in the drugs trade.”
