Tickets for Edinburgh’s Hogmanay – Something vaguely Christmassy to do today – Queen’s Hall – National Museum of Scotland – Waste and recycling

There are still some tickets left for the street party on Hogmanay.

Organisers of Edinburgh’s Hogmanay, produced on behalf of the City of Edinburgh Council, are encouraging revellers to pick up their Street Party tickets this weekend, and not to wait till the 31st to avoid queues. While tickets are sold out for most of the events, there are tickets to the Street Party still available and limited Gardens tickets for Concert in the Gardens.

Councillor Gavin Barrie from the City of Edinburgh Council said:- “Edinburgh has been host to the greatest Hogmanay party for the last 21 years and we welcome visitors from all over the world to enjoy our unique celebrations. Tickets for the Street Party are selling fast so don’t wait until the last minute to get them. I would also encourage everyone to come out and experience some of the other wonderful events that are on offer over the three days of activities, including the Torchlight Procession and the Loony Dook.”

Pete Irvine, Director of Unique Events who have produced Edinburgh’s Hogmanay on behalf of the City of Edinburgh Council since 1993, said:- “The countdown to Scotland’s Big Year Starts here in Edinburgh on Monday with the Torchlight Procession illuminating the city’s streets and an exclusive preview of the Homecoming Hogmanay moment. We have a uniquely Scottish line-up for the world famous Street Party on the 31st and, of course, the UK’s most successful pop act, Pet Shop Boys, headlining Concert in the Gardens.

“If you’re planning to come to the Street Party, I would encourage you to pick up your tickets from our Box Office at the Fringe Office on the High Street before Tuesday 31st – to avoid the last minute queues. Come and join us for a rocking good party to welcome 2014.”
