Edinburgh team appeals for missing student
Staff from Edinburgh-based charity lottery, People’s Postcode Lottery, showed their support for efforts to find missing Yulia Solodyanka. The 86-strong team held up her appeal poster in an effort to highlight the continuing mystery surrounding the disappearance of the student.
Yulia went missing from Edinburgh on 7 June 2013 and both organisations are doing everything possible to bring her home safely and to get the public to call 116 000 with any information.
The relationship that Missing People has developed with People’s Postcode Lottery has allowed players to raise well over £2m for the charity. The team will continue to support the search for missing and vulnerable children and adults.
Henry Shelford, Head of Major Gifts, Missing People said:-“It’s so important that people get in touch with our organisation if they can help with the search for Yulia – we really need to know she’s safe and it’s great to see so many people doing their best to help.
“We’re immensely grateful that the team from People’s Postcode Lottery are contributing even more to our cause, every ticket sold helps support our continued efforts to search for the 250,000 people who go missing each year in the UK.”
