The Scotsman Hotel have just started to offer a supper club menu only on Monday evenings between 5.30 and 7.00pm. The three course menu changes each week but the price remains the same at £25 for three courses with a glass of wine.

Here is tonight’s menu just in case you are tempted to eat out after a hard day in the office!

Warm courgette and thyme mousse with a parmesan sauce and courgette flower fritters

 

Loch Lomond Arctic charr poached in “summer harvest” Perthshire rapeseed oil, with a warm salad of Ayrshire

new potatoes and grilled leeks and a mint hollandaise sauce

Baby spinach and almond soup with marinated feta cheese

8oz Flat iron steak topped with the Scotsman’s famous “Auld Reekie” whisky and smoked cheese sauce served with

chunky chips and grilled Portobello mushrooms

Globe artichoke and lemon thyme risotto with broccoli and parmesan

St Mungos beer battered fish of the day served with chunky chips and homemade tartare sauce

Hot chocolate mousse with toasted marshmallow ice cream

and crunchy milk rocks

Sticky toffee pudding served with hot butterscotch sauce

and clotted cream ice cream
