Police are appealing for the help of the public to trace an 82-year-old man reported missing from the Little France area of Edinburgh.

David Duncan was last seen around 3.45pm on Old Dalkeith Road on Friday, 6 September, and concerns are growing for his welfare.

He is described as around 5ft 8ins, slim to medium build with short, grey hair. When last seen he was wearing a blue polo shirt, light brown chino style trousers and black trainers with a white sole.

David has connections in the Mountcastle area of the city.

Inspector Kenny Robertson said: “We need to make sure David is safe and well and we are asking anyone who has seen him or knows where he is to get in touch.

“He was last seen walking in the direction of Cameron Toll shopping centre and we are asking people in the area to keep a look out for David.”

Anyone who can help is asked to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference number 2595 of Friday, 6 September, 2024.
