Hibs Head Coach David Gray has almost a full squad to choose from, with only Elie Youan and Junior Hoilett unavailable through injury.
Speaking at the pre-match press conference ahead of tomorrow’s game against Dundee, Gray told Hibs TV. “They’re the two that are still unavailable but they’re getting better every day.
“They’ve had some low-level integrations with the squad in terms of warm-ups and non-contact exercises, which will be built up over the next few days.
“The rest of the squad is really healthy, which is positive. The squad is in a good place.”
After two league defeats to St Mirren in Paisley and Celtic at easter Road Gray has urged his players to start the game on the front-foot against Dundee.
The Dee have started the 2024/25 William Hill Premiership campaign well drawing with Dundee United on the opening day before beating Hearts.
Gray was full of optimism, especially with his side returning to Easter Road.
“It’s great to be back at home. It’s a game we’re all looking forward to.
“The last few games have been really difficult. We need to make sure we’re on the front-foot and the fans will be right behind us if we start the game properly, which I’m sure we will.
“Dundee will come full of confidence because of how they’ve started, but we’re a good side, I know we are. It’s a work in progress at times, but there’s positives especially from training.
“Dundee have good players and individuals. They’re very organised and Tony (Docherty) has done a great job there in terms of their achievements last year and the start of this season. We fully expect a tough game.
“They have a lot of energy in the team and Simon Murray chases things all day. We need to be ready for that.
“We have to match that energy or better it. We know what we can do, where we can hurt them, and we need to make sure we do that. We’re really looking forward to the game now.”
