It has not stopped raining in Edinburgh all day.
Some politicians beginning their General Election campaigns have steadfastly been out in the wet weather in Edinburgh at various party launches.
It looks as though some motorists were using the puddles as a way of washing their cars on Seafield Road on Thursday.
According to the Met Office the rain will not stop until 10am on Friday. Read more here.
