Lyra, an arts organisation based in Greater Craigmillar, is looking for children and young people from Greater Craigmillar to join in with some performing arts projects taking place between September 2020 – June 2021.
All of the projects are FREE to join and anyone joining does not need any previous experience to sign up.
The body makes world-class artworks and creative projects for, by and with children and young people aged 5-25.
While the venue, Artspace on Harewood Road, is still closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the projects will begin online, with weekly sessions taking place on Zoom.
If participating online is not for you, you are asked not to let that stop you from taking part. Lyra is working towards in person sessions as soon as it’s safe to do so, and in the meantime they are exploring alternative ways of keeping everyone involved.
The programme brings the group of young artists together with arts professionals from Scotland and abroad to work side-by-side on world-class projects and productions.
